Mark Brunell
Mark Allen Brunell was born on September 17, 1970 in Santa Maria, California. In college, Brunell starred at the University of Washington where he became the starter during his sophomore season and had a fine collegiate career. Brunell, a left-handed quarterback, was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with pick 118 in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL Draft to become a backup to their franchise quarterback, Brett Favre.

It was obvious from the start that the Jacksonville Jaguars think they can win now. They went up in the draft and got their guy. Derrick Harvey cost the team a lot, yet he fills a pressing need. Harvey and Quentin Groves will help out immediately along the defensive front. Harvey, a speedy pass rusher from Florida and Groves, an athletic end from Auburn, may be the bookends on the defensive line for years to come. Coach Del Rio apparently saw getting after the quarterback as his team’s biggest weakness; he went out to fill that hole.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a decent draft in 2007.  They were able to fill needs at safety and linebacker with their first two selections.  With their third pick, they drafted another WR who should be able to compete for playing time as a rookie.  Overall, Jacksonville had 11 picks.  20Yardline.com Draft Grade / C+.
