Denver Broncos 2007 Draft Recap
The Denver Broncos entered the 2007 NFL Draft with one great need: the defensive line.  With their four selections, they were able to select three players to help on the defensive line: Jarvis Moss, Tim Crowder, and Marcus Thomas.  They also got some help on the offensive line with Ryan Harris of Notre Dame.  20Yardline.com Draft Grade / B+.

1. (17) Jarvis Moss, DE, Florida (6'6 ", 250, 4.7).  Moss has an extremely fast first step and is great in pursuit.  He makes a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage.  He uses his speed and adds double moves that are tough to defend.  He needs to bulk up a bit to be an every down player in the NFL.  He plays the run well but sometimes gets overwhelmed by larger offensive lineman.

2. (56) Tim Crowder, DE Texas (6'3 ", 272, 4.69).  Crowder has good size and speed and has a good motor as he plays hard on every play.  He has long arms and good leaping ability which helps in knocking down passes at the line of scrimmage.  He plays the run well but struggles with the pass rush against the better offensive tackles he has faced.  He should see a lot of playing time as a rookie.

3. (70) Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame (6'4 ", 305, 5.09).  Harris lacks ideal size at offensive tackle for most NFL teams but should fit the Broncos scheme well.  He is technically sound, having good footwork, and uses his hands well.  He lacks ideal strength but has the frame to add bulk.  He is a hard worker who responds to coaching positively.  He also has good experience at a school where he faced top competition in college.

4. (121) Marcus Thomas, DT, Florida (6'2 ", 314, 4.97).  Thomas had the ability to be a first round selection, but off the field problems kept him on the board until the fourth round.  Thomas has excellent explosion off the line of scrimmage and closes well on the quarterback or in the running game.  He has good strength with a good frame to add more bulk.  He should compete for a starting position opposite Gerard Warren as a rookie.
