With Marion Barber at the end of a contract, the Cowboys were smart to address the position with two selections. Felix Jones is the perfect complement to Barber if he stays; if the Cowboys choose to let Barber go then Tashard Choice could fill his role. Remember, Barber was a fourth round pick himself, as was Tashard Choice. I like both those kids and they remind me exactly of the Jones-Barber draft just a few years back. Felix Jones is a speedster who is capable of making a big run at any time and Choice is your “between the tackles” guy who led the ACC in rushing the last two seasons. Jones of course played second fiddle to one Darren McFadden.

On to Mike Jenkins, cornerback from South Florida who was 20yardline.com's third rated corner in the draft. This kid has excellent cover skills and can step into the nickel spot right away with or without Adam Jones' reinstatement. Martellus Bennett, out of Texas A&M, is a nice prospect who can stretch the hash opposite Jason Witten but more than likely will be that blocking tight end as Dallas likes to spread the field three wide.

It is tough to pick a sleeper out of a small class like Dallas. We will go with Orlando Scandrick, a much maligned corner from Boise State. He could be a make or break player for the Cowboys, who are obviously willing to take a risk. He had third or possibly second round talent in this class but dropped due to off the field issues. If he can stick his chest out, keep his head up and handle his business, then he could have a successful career in big D.
