Denver Broncos 2007 Draft Recap
The Denver Broncos entered the 2007 NFL Draft with one great need: the defensive line.  With their four selections, they were able to select three players to help on the defensive line: Jarvis Moss, Tim Crowder, and Marcus Thomas.  They also got some help on the offensive line with Ryan Harris of Notre Dame. Draft Grade / B+.
Broncos Land Dre' Bly

For the second time in three years, Mike Shanahan has pulled the trigger on a blockbuster trade for a top notch corner.  Three years ago, Shanahan traded Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey and a second round draft choice which he used to select RB Tatum Bell.  Now the coach has sent Bell, tackle George Foster, and a middle round draft choice to the Detroit Lions in exchange for two time Pro Bowl corner back Dre' Bly.

Denver Broncos 2006 - Year in Review

The Denver Broncos started the 2006 season with Super Bowl aspirations.  They had reached the AFC Championship game in 2005 and appeared to be on the right track.  They had what may become one of the best drafts in team history.  In the first round, they traded up to get Jay Cutler, who appears to be a franchise type quarterback.  He is cool under pressure, can scramble around, and can make every throw in the game.
